Espar's Hydronic coolant heater is a powerful, compact and light weight heating system. It is typically used to provide heat for medium power and sailing boats

Boat Electric's Value Added Marine Heating Features and Benefits include:

  • All control wiring and components are mounted on a panel to aid in wiring installation.
  • All heater over current protection has been upgraded to USA standard fuses.
  • Manual over-ride for water pump operation to aid in system fill and bleeding.
  • Standard system is configured for up to 3 zone thermostats. (1 thermostat is included with basic kit.)
  • Multiple "Sub-Master" feature when system is installed with 2 or more zone thermostats. Allows the Espar heater to cycle off, to a stand-by mode, when all thermostats are off. Any thermostat that calls for heat will reactivate the heater.
  • Systems that use "Fan" type heat exchangers have the fans delayed until the water has increased in temperature enough to put out warm air. This permits the system to come up to temperature faster and eliminates the cold air from the fan heat exchangers.
  • Local control is provided at the heater for testing purposes.
  • Diagnostic flash code LED is provided to aid in troubleshooting.
  • Quick access plug is made available for computer diagnostics.
